How to restrict which projects can use Advanced Microsoft Teams Connector for Jira?

On the Global Configuration page, Jira administrations can control which projects are allowed to use Advanced Microsoft Teams Connector for Jira. This setting provides flexibility to enable or restrict access based on project needs, team preferences, or security considerations.

The following steps help you select which projects can use Advanced Microsoft Teams Connector for Jira:

  1. Go Jira Administration and click on Manage apps section.

  2. Find our app in the User-installed apps section.

  3. Click on Configure button to go to Global Configuration page.

  4. On the Global configuration page go to Settings tab.

  5. Select projects you need:

    1. Allow Microsoft Teams Jira Connector - Use this option to specify the projects that are allowed to use the Advanced Microsoft Teams Connector for Jira.

    2. Disallow Microsoft Teams Jira Connector - Use this option to specify the projects that are not allowed to use the Advanced Microsoft Teams Connector for Jira.

Please note, any rules created before the restriction was configured will remain active and still be used for notifications.
