Why connect your account?

Once you connect your Jira and Microsoft Teams accounts, you’ll be able to:

  • Receive personal notifications about work items related to you

  • Discuss work items directly in Microsoft Teams

  • Update Jira work items from Teams (add comments, change status, log time, etc.)

  • Share work items quickly in chats or channels

  • Get reminders about Jira work items

Connect Your Jira and Microsoft Teams Accounts

It only takes a minute to get started:

How to connect:

  1. Open Microsoft Teams

  2. Search for “Move Work Forward with Jira” in the Apps section

  3. Click Add to start a 1:1 chat with the bot

  4. In the chat, type connect

  5. Follow the steps to authorize your Jira account
