Admin events notifications

Jira admin event notifications provided by Advanced Microsoft Teams Jira Connector empower Jira administrators with real-time insights, allowing them to maintain a secure, stable, and well-governed Jira environment. It includes events related to users, plugins and re-index all completed events.

This functionality is avaible only for Jira adminisrators.

Configurations

To set up admin events notifications sent to the Microsoft Teams channels you have to create a notification rule which allows you to configure specific conditions or triggers for receiving notifications.

To set up admin events notifications :

  1. Go to Global Configuration page (Jira Administration→ Manage apps→Microsoft Teams Jira Connector→Configure).

  2. On the Admin Events tab click on Create.

  3. Put the Incoming webhook URL (or use Managed URLs) to a channel where you want to receive notifications. How to create Incoming Webhook URL?

  4. Specify the events when you want to get notified.

  5. Give the name and click on Save. Optionally you can disable sending message details on notification card.

  6. Click on Save.
